Practical Grassroots Experience
Level up your patriot skills! You’ll not only be close to the action, you’ll be an essential part of it, making a meaningful difference in your local community and state while helping restore liberty and self-governance to our country.
At the beginning of the internship, you’ll be matched up with one of our amazing volunteer grassroots leaders who will show you the ropes and connect you with the rest of the state team. Throughout the year, you’ll gain valuable hands-on experience in the day-to-day inner workings of one of the most effective grassroots organizations in the country.
Every intern participates in a core experience plus special state-specific projects. Expect to try out a wide variety of projects, while also delving deeper into work that matches your unique talents and interests. The ratio of in-person vs. remote projects will depend on your location and availability.
Examples of grassroots projects include:
- Welcome new supporters and mobilize current volunteers by email, text, or call
- Help run an informational booth at a local event, school, or store with a team of other volunteers
- Create content for social media and write blog articles to be published on the state website
- Meet with local representatives at the state capitol
- Testify at a committee meeting/hearing
- Research and organize information on upcoming value-aligned legislation to guide state team strategy
- Give presentations about the Constitution and Article V at a local school
- Lead a team of volunteers in your district
